The results of the USTA Southern IL State Championships are impressive: 4 State Champions, 15 top three finishes, and 27 of the 28 tumblers competing qualified for Nationals.

Athletes from Gem City’s Level 7 and 8 Gymnastics Team competed at USAG Region 5 Regionals in Dayton, Ohio on April 20! The athletes qualified for Regionals after competing and advancing at State Championships.

Gem City’s All-Star Squads competed at the US FINALS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS on April 13, and we are so proud of both squads! 🎉

Congrats to Maralea Stapp, the final winner of Good Grades Quarterly Drawing for the 2023-2024 schoool year! Maralea is in Gem City’s Prep Tumbling class and a student at Baldwin School.

We have seven graduating athletes this year at Gem City who are part of our team program or are staff here at the gym! Some of these athletes are new to us and some have literally been here almost their entire lives.
Gem City will be closed from Friday, March 29 to Sunday, March 31 for Easter. Classes resume on Monday, April 1.

Our Level 7 & Level 8 girls that attended the 2024 USAG State Championships have ALL qualified for Regionals! Each athlete earned season high scores as well.

Gem City’s Level 3 State qualifiers traveled to Bourbonnais, Illinois for the 2024 USAG Illinois State Championships! We are so proud of all of them for qualifiying and for showing up strong. 💎

Gem City’s Tumbling Team competed at the “In My Tumbling Era” invitational in Effingham, IL on March 17. This was the last invitational meet of the 2023-2024 season! The tumblers have one month off before heading to the USTA Southern Illinois State Championships on April 21.

Gem City’s Level 4 & Level 5 State qualifiers traveled to Aurora, Illinois for the 2024 USAG Illinois State Championships! Our Level 4 Senior Team placed 5th in the state and our athletes had so many personal bests and lots of smiles.
