Gem City’s Level 4 & 5 gymnasts had a great meet season with 14 athletes qualifying to advance to the USAG Illinois State Championships. The meet will be hosted by X-Caliber Gymnastics on March 18-20 in Bourbonnais, Illinois.

Whether you’re an all-star cheer veteran and would just like some extra practice time or you’ve never done anything “cheer” in your life, come and workout with us! We’ll be holding these on on three Saturday’s: April 23, 30 and May 7 from 10:15 am to 12:15 pm.
All Star cheer tryouts for the 2022-2023 season will take place on Saturday, May 14 for Gem City’s junior and senior squads. The tryouts is available for all skill levels and ages 6 to 18.
Thirteen of Gem City’s tumblers traveled to Flora, IL, on February 26-27 to compete in their fourth meet of the season. Nine of the athletes finished in the top three, bringing home 4 golds, 3 silvers, and two bronze medals this weekend and they crushed it!
Gem City’s gymnastics team closed out the season on February 15-27,2022 at the the 31st annual St. Louis Classic hosted by Team Central Gymnastics Academy. The Level 3 Team earned 3rd place and we had many strong individual placings.
Gem City’s Level 2 Senior All Star Cheer Squad competed at the 2022 CSG Des Moines Challenge where they finished second!
The Gem City Diamonds, our junior level 1 all star cheer squad, competed their hearts out at the 2022 CSG Des Moines Challenge to earn a 2nd place finish.
Gem City’s gymnastics team traveled to St. Charles, MO, to compete at the Mardi Gras Invitational hosted by GymQuarters Gymnastics. Some athletes had to leave early to beat the bad weather!

It doesn’t feel like spring quite yet, but the spring 2022 session is rolling!
Gem City’s junior all-star cheer squad, the Gem City Diamonds earned a qualifying score for Nationals at their first competition of the season in Indianapolis. The girls will attend the National competition April 2-3 in Kansas City.
The second winner of our Good Grades Quarterly Drawing for the 2021-2022 school year is Isabelle Jansen! She’s in 1st grade at Lincoln Douglas School.
