Gem City always loves competing at the Mardi Gras Invitational! The gymnastics team compete at the meet on February 15-16 in St. Charles, MO. Our Level 7 team earned 2nd Place!
Tumblers headed to Normal, Ilinois, on February 16 for the 2024-2025 USTA Team Trial and Super Invitational. Gem City had two athletes win high point challenges with one earning a spot on the USTA National Team.
Gem City’s cheer squads competed in Peoria on February 15 for Jamfest! The Phoenix (level 2 elite senior squad) earned 3rd Place while the Diamonds (level 1 elite youth squad) earned 6th Place!

Gem City’s gymnastics team found success competing at the Metro Arch Classic in Collinsville, Illinois from January 31 to February 1. The judging was strict, but we had many qualify for State and we are home to a Level 4 All Around Champion, Kinsley Fuller! Plus, our Level 4 Team earned 3rd Place and Level 7 Team earned 5th place!
19 of 24 Gem City tumblers had top 3 finishes at the their January 26th meet in Decatur, Illinois. 10 of those places were FIRST!

Gem City’s gymnastics team traveled to Yorkville, Illinois on January 17-19 for the Bravo Fiesta Classic competition. Our Level 5 Team earned the 2nd Place Team Award!
Congrats to Ryann Setzer, our second winner of the 2024-2025 Good Grades Quarterly Drawings! Ryann attends Gem City’s gymnastics classes and is a 6th grader.
Despite bad weather, the Gem City Phoenix (Senior Squad) and the Diamonds (Youth Squad) both earned first place at Next Level Midwest Nationals! The Diamonds HIT ZERO with no major deductions.
