👏 We will be allowing anyone that was enrolled in our Spring session to enroll in one of the make-up classes listed below. With eight weeks of summer left, this is a great opportunity to get some of our athletes back into the gym to make-up for classes missed and already paid for.
We won’t be doing summer classes, but Gem City will still be doing plenty! Check out what’s happening below!
We’re so excited to get Gem City up and running again! Please help us make this a safe reopening for our gym community. Check out the new procedures we will be implementing.
Gem City’s Tumbling Team qualified and were ready for the United States Trampoline & Tumbling (USTA) Illinois State Championships on April 19 in Pana, Illinois, but unfortunately the season was cut short. We still want to give credit to our amazing athletes while they are home now instead of in the gym.
Ashley Leonard, 18 from Quincy, has been a Gem City athlete for over 12 years and was recently honored as the Southern Illinois State Athlete of the Year by the United States Trampoline & Tumbling Association (USTA)!
To all of our athletes and their families,
We are canceling our recreational summer session. We will be closed for ALL classes beginning May 29 until further notice due to the Illinois Governor’s recent Executive Order for all non-essential businesses and a phased reopening.
It’s a joy to work with a kid all the way up to the point of graduating from high school. Unfortunately, our graduating seniors had a great season cut short this year but we cherish the opportunity to learn and grow with them all these years. 🎓 We will miss you all being in the gym each week. Good luck next year, and don’t forget to come back and visit! 😥
Congratulations to Gem City’s 30 competitive tumblers who competed in Peoria, IL on March 7, 2020. It was a fantastic showing with all athletes finishing in the top ten. We are so proud of them!
The results were sweet for Gem City’s Tumbling Team at the Candy Classic in Edwardsville, IL on February 23, 2020. We are so proud of the fantastic results with over half of our athletes finishing in the top three.
Gem City’s tumblers traveled further than they usually do to compete in Clearwater, Florida. This past weekend athletes competed at the 4th annual Acro for Autism meet. Ten tumblers made the journey and dominated with all athletes placing in the top 3 or better.
