Thirteen of Gem City’s tumblers traveled to Flora, IL, on February 26-27 to compete in their fourth meet of the season. Nine of the athletes finished in the top three, bringing home 4 golds, 3 silvers, and two bronze medals this weekend and they crushed it!
We are so excited to congratulate two of Gem City’s seniors- Khloee Hinton and Madison Hochgraber. They both graduated in December at the end of the semester. Both of these young ladies will continue practicing and competing on their competitive teams through the end of the traditional school year, but we wanted to give them a shout-out on a job well done now!
The USTA Elite Team Trial & Super Invitational took the Gem City Tumbling Team to Belvidere, IL. Gem City had a great competition. We are so proud of all our athletes hard work and dedication. Here are the results.

Gem City’s advanced girls closed out the final day of the USTA National Championships strong with a 3rd in the all around team competition!
Out of 116 competitive teams at the USTA National Championships, Gem City’s novice girls team placed 2nd in the team competition! We are tremendously proud of these athletes strong performance.
Gem City’s competitive tumbling team qualified and advanced to the USTA National Championships in Rochester, Minnesota from June 14-19. Twenty-nine of our athletes qualified for Nationals at the State Championships, and 17 advanced to Nationals.
Gem City has 17 athletes, out of the 29 that qualified at State, advancing on to United States Trampoline & Tumbling Association (USTA) National Championships. It’ll be held in Rochester, Minnesota on June 14-19.
