We’re so excited to get Gem City up and running again! Please help us make this a safe reopening for our gym community. Check out the new procedures we will be implementing.
Congratulations to our Level 3 gymnasts that qualified to advance to State! With our season cut short, these athletes aren’t able to compete this weekend like originally planned. Regardless, they’ve had a great season, and we can’t wait to get back to gym to focus on next season!
Gem City’s gymnasts worked hard this season and though their competition season come to an abrupt end, we are going to celebrate! These athletes are healthy, strong, and still working hard from home right now anticipating being back in the gym.
To all of our athletes and their families,
We are canceling our recreational summer session. We will be closed for ALL classes beginning May 29 until further notice due to the Illinois Governor’s recent Executive Order for all non-essential businesses and a phased reopening.
Our Level 4 Gymnastics Team competed at their USAG Illinois State Championships on March 6-8 in Dekalb, Illinois. 🤸♂️ We are so proud of their accomplishments! 🎉 Thank you to the parents and friends of our athletes for making this such a great season. 👏
Gem City’s Gymnastics Team closed out a strong season this last weekend with a final regular season competition at the St. Louis Classic! Our Level 9 athletes earned a 3rd Place Team Award and our Level 3 team captured a 2nd Place Team Award! 🤩❤️ 👏🎉
Gem City’s Level 4 gymnasts had a great meet season with 12 athletes qualifying to advance to the USAG Illinois State Championships. The meet will be hosted by Energym Gymnastics on March 6-8 in Dekalb, Illinois.
Gem City’s gymnastics teams scored big at the Mardi Gras Invitational in St. Charles, Missouri. The meet was hosted by Gym Quarters. Our Level 4 gymnasts earned 3rd place while Gem City’s Level 3 gymnasts earned 2nd place.
Twenty-five of Gem City’s tumblers traveled to Macon, Illinois, near Decatur for a competition. All athletes did stellar with every athlete placing top seven or better.
A few of our gymnasts trekked a little further than we usually do to compete at the Coaches Spectacular in the Cincinnati area. We love this meet each year because the competition is fierce, we get to explore beyond our Illinois-Missouri gymnastics bubble, and it’s a fun road trip!
