Giving back to your community is important! We held a Giving Tuesday donation challenge with our team athletes and coaches. We encouraged our athletes to donate $1 to $5 to a cause they cared about and Gem City matched each dollar up to $5 for each athlete’s donation.
Diamond McClary, a homeschool student from LaBelle, Mo, is the winner of our Good Grades Quarterly Drawing for the first quarter of the 2019-2020 school year! We’re always excited by the opportunity to share in our athlete’s success at school with our Good Grades Quarterly Drawing.
Our online class catalog is THE most up-to-date listing available. We mail and pass out printed Spring 2020 brochures to all active and inactive students each session. However, life changes. After making our schedule last month, we did have a few tweaks after it printed.
In September, we launched our “Why do you love Gem City?” contest. Using any creative medium, athletes were able to submit any piece of art or writing to express why they loved attending Gem City. We had many great entries and thank you to all that entered!
We would like to offer to all Veterans and Active Duty: 50% off the gym registration fee. (This fee is a $50 annual fee, FOR FREE.)
Gem City’s spring session is 19 weeks running from January 3 to May 16. Call 217.224.8491 or drop in at the gym to get your spot reserved beginning on November 25.
You can find our listing of gymnastics, tumbling, cheer, kinder gem, and parkour classes here. We offer programs for children starting as young as 18 months and also have a program for adult athletes.
There’s been much enthusiasm for Gem City’s Adaptive Gymnastics class for athletes with special needs. Based on feedback, we are now making it only a weekly commitment for $12 each class. No long-term commitment or membership fee!
In one page or less tell the staff of Gem City why you love attending class. Use your imagination! No form of expression is off limits! Give us an essay, a poem, a painting, a drawing, or even a song.
