Tumbling Team Heads to State Championships
Good luck to our talented Gem City Tumbling Team members as they head to the USTA Southern Illinois State Championships on April 27 in Decatur, Illinois!
These dedicated athletes have competed in 3-7 Illinois competitions this season, beginning in November, and their hard work has earned them the opportunity to compete at State.
Each level has specific practice requirements, but most of our athletes train 1-3 times per week, with some even taking private lessons to gain that extra edge. Their determination and commitment are truly inspiring, and we are so proud of everything they’ve accomplished so far.
This meet is a qualifying event for USTA Nationals, which will take place from June 16-21 in Rapid City, South Dakota. The top 15 athletes per level from each state will advance to Nationals. We’ll be cheering on our Gem City athletes as they give it their all!
