Proud Moments and Personal Bests for Level 3 Gymnasts at State

Congratulations to our 14 Level 3 gymnasts who competed at the 2025 USAG Illinois State Championships in Waukegan on March 21-23! We are so proud of their dedication, perseverance, and the incredible progress they have shown throughout the season. Competing at the state level is no small feat, and our athletes represented Gem City with pride and determination.

We saw many personal goals met, high scores achieved, and plenty of smiles as these gymnasts gave it their all. A special congratulations to our athletes who earned top ten placements:

Charlie Schoen – UB 10th
Caroline Viorel – UB 10th
Ella Hockman – UB 2nd, FX 6th

These results are a reflection of the hard work put in at every practice. Our Level 3 gymnasts train with passion and dedication, and it was evident on the competition floor.

These achievements didn’t happen overnight. Each athlete has dedicated themselves to 4-5 weekly practice sessions throughout the year, balancing their rigorous training with school responsibilities and personal lives. Their commitment to excellence was on full display as we witnessed numerous personal bests and top-ten finishes throughout the competition.
