January 2025 Newsletter
Today is Monday, January 6 and the start of our spring session— all of this snow unfortunately means we have a snow day today!
Here are three things to know:
1) All snow days and weather-related closures can be made up! We’ll be scheduling those after March 1. Find more details here.
2) Registration for spring is still open! We open most days at 3pm, so give us a call at 217.224.8481. The spring session is 19 weeks long and ends on May 17. Find our classes here.
3) Policy Update: Starting with the spring session, our two-installment payment plan will return. Read more details here. (Please note all customers will need to review and accept the new payment policy if you enrolled for spring classes prior to this policy change.)

P.S. Want to save 2.59% on your spring tuition? Pay in the office with cash or check to avoid the online credit card fee! The first half of tuition is due on the first day of class.

Next Good Grades Drawing
Our second quarter Good Grades Drawing will be on Wednesday, January 8!
Illness Policy
If your child did not attend school due to illness, we ask that you also refrain from attending class or practice at Gem City the same evening. We ask that athletes be fever free for 24 hours before coming to class.
Also, please have your athlete wash their hands before and after class.
Preschool Playtime
Our Preschool Playtime continues through the Spring 2025 session. Join us every Wednesday morning 9:30-11:30am, ages six and under, only $9 per child.

Valentine’s Day Pizza Fun Night: Friday, February 14
Gem City’s next Pizza Fun Night is Friday, February 14 from 630-930pm, ages 5-12. $25 for members & $30 for nonmembers. Call or stop in to reserve your spot!
Daytime Open Gym: Sunday, December 8
Gem City’s next Daytime Open Gym is Monday, January 20 from 12-2pm, ages 5-12. $18 for members & $21 for nonmembers. Call or stop in to reserve your spot!
Next Stunt Night: Sunday, January 12
Any athlete under the age of 18 needs to bring this waiver with them signed by their parent/guardian in order to attend
Bella Turner won our Leotard for Life raffle!
Bella will get a new leotard FOR FREE each December for as long as she is a GCGT athlete. Congratulations, Bella! What a fun gift right before Christmas! Thank you to all those that entered the drawing!
New Parent portal System Brings Easier Access
We are excited to introduce a new Parent Portal system that allows you to manage your account information more easily. It enables you to view your family account and pay online (if you choose to). Plus, paper forms are now a thing of the past.
