Tumblers Close Out 2024 in Flora, IL
A ton of first-time competitions for competitors at new levels attended the last meet of 2024. Gem City had two new elite athletes and three new advanced athletes. Both elite athletes registered their first elite qualifying difficulty scores and the advanced girls shined.
One of the new advanced athletes, Ryli Zahringer, captured a first place finish at her first advanced competition and the young group was anchored by their senior captain and previous USTA advanced national champion, Ruby Akerson, who also finished in first place this weekend.
