September 2024 Newsletter
The fall session is off to a great start and we have a few things to update everyone on.
Tuition Reminder: The second half of tuition is due by October 1. (Your first half payment of tuition and registration fee should be already paid.)
Did you all notice the new pit blocks?! We added thousands of new PURPLE pit blocks into the pit over our August break!
Not enrolled yet!? It’s not too late to get started in our fall session. We still have some openings, so give us a call! Check out our classes here. Plus, we offer a trial class to any new athlete to try the class first before committing.
Bonus Tip: We encourage anyone with a preschooler to join our Friday morning Kinder Gem 4&5 class at 9:30-10:30am! The gym has fewer kids in it on Friday mornings compared to our evening hours during the week since we have only one class happening at a time. Call 217.224.8491 to reserve your spot!

🤸🏼♀️ Celebrate National Gymnastics Day on September 21
We will be celebrating all week long in celebration of National Gymnastics Day! We’ll have something special for each child after class! Share your best gymnastics pictures or videos and tag it with Gem City and #NGD2024.
📝 Quick Notes
First Good Grades Drawing is November 6
We continue to do our drawings quarterly, but we understand some schools are now using trimesters— we will still take any and all entries! Simply bring in your grade card whenever you receive it and we will enter it into the next drawing we hold. The winner gets to choose anything from our Pro Shop for free!
Private Lesson Policy
Private lessons beginning Fall Session 2024: all lessons must be paid for BEFORE the lesson or a full month in advance. We will no longer be accepting private lessons to sit as past due balances. If there is no one in the office when you’re at the gym you can give your payment to your coach or put a check/cash in the brown box outside the office door. We can also take card payment over the phone in the event you need to pay with a card but won’t be at the gym with your athlete the day of their lesson.

Pizza Fun Night: Friday, September 20
Gem City’s first Pizza Fun Night of the school year will happen on Friday, September 20 from 630-930pm, ages 5-12. $25 & $30.

Showoff your costume and have the chance to win at our Halloween Pizza Fun Night from 630-930 pm on October 18. Ages 5-12. Members $25, Nonmembers $30. - School’s Out Daytime Open Gym on October 14
The open gym will be from 930-1130! The deadline for sign up is October 10. Ages 4-12. Members $18, Nonmembers $21.
