Spooky season is upon us! 🎃 Here’s what you need to know about October and Halloween at Gem City.
Scheduled Break: We will be closed on Halloween, Thursday, October 31. Have fun and be safe while trick or treating!
Theme Week: Beginning Thursday, October 24, Gem City will be hold its Halloween Theme Week at the gym! Come to class with a Halloween leotard, spooky hair, creepy face paint, or even part of your costume! We can’t wait to see everyone get festive! (Please make sure whatever you do isn’t messy and still allows for active movement while in class.)

Tuition Reminder: The second half of tuition was due by October 1. Please stop in the Pro Shop if you have any questions regarding billing or your account.
Limited Spots Available: You can still enroll in classes. Check out our classes here then give us a call to find what class times have spots remaining. We offer a trial class to any new athlete to try the class first before committing.

- Fall session evaluation week is the week of November 18
- Spring session enrollment begins Monday, December 2

First Good Grades Drawing is November 6
We continue to do our drawings quarterly, but we understand some schools are now using trimesters— we will still take any and all entries! Simply bring in your grade card whenever you receive it and we will enter it into the next drawing we hold. The winner gets to choose anything from our Pro Shop for free!
Leotard Alert
Stop in our Pro Shop. We have a new shipment of leotards and these styles will only be here for a few weeks!
Preschool Playtime
Our Preschool Playtime continues through the Fall 2024 session— uninterrupted until Christmas break. We will be having PP over Thanksgiving break but NOT Christmas break this year. Join us every Wednesday morning 9:30-11:30am, ages six and under, only $9 per child. Come and go as you please. Bring a coffee and some snacks and enjoy the gym with your little one!
New Private Lesson Policy
All private lessons must be paid for the day of the the lesson or a full month in advance. Past due balances will no longer be allowed. Payment can be made in the Pro Shop, given to your coach, or placed in a check/cash in the brown box outside the office door. We can also take card payment over the phone if needed.
✨ Coming Soon: A New Way to Manage Your Account
We will be transitioning to a new system to manager your account beginning December 2 when our spring session enrollment beings. It will allow families to see their account online and manage payments more easily. Be on the lookout for an email in your inbox for a message with all the details later this month.

Pizza Fun Night + Costume Contest: Friday, October 18
Gem City’s annual Pizza Fun Night + Costume Contest is on Friday, October 18 from 630-930pm, ages 5-12. $25 & $30. Make sure to bring a change of clothes if your costume is difficult to play in.
School’s Out Daytime Open Gym on October 14
The open gym will be from 12-2pm! The deadline for sign up is October 10. Ages 4-12. Members $18, Nonmembers $21.
