Level 4 & 5 Gymnasts Compete at State in Aurora

Gem City’s Level 4 & Level 5 State qualifiers traveled to Aurora, Illinois for the 2024 USAG Illinois State Championships! Our Level 4 Senior Team placed 5th in the state and our athletes had so many personal bests and lots of smiles.

It takes SO much to get to this point – MANY hours, lots of failures, multiple hurdles, and then let’s factor in school, home, faith, family, friends, & hobbies – these athletes manage a pretty big load. ❤️ Athletes attended up to five invitational meets this season from December through February. They had to earn a minimum qualifying score to qualify for State. This State meet is hosted by Prairie Gymnastics Club.
