June 2023 Newsletter
We’ve been busy kicking off summer with some improvements around the gym!
Phase one of our updating was completed over May break – new carpet in the lobby/birthday party room, stairs, and balcony. 👏 We still have a few things in store, so in the coming weeks the room will be complete!
It’s not always big things that make a big difference. In the past session we’ve updated our trash cans, party tables, all the bulletin boards in our entryways, the bathroom sinks/vanities, the signage above our doors/bulletin boards, and now the carpet. Hoping to give a more modern, updated look for all our families that love being here so much! 💪🤸♂️

Our ONLY Pizza Fun Night of the Summer Just Got SWEETER
Our next Pizza Fun Night is scheduled for Friday, July 21, 6:30-9:30pm. Ages 4-12. Members $20, nonmembers $25. The price includes pizza, soda, candy prizes for games, and playtime!
Fruitopia #2 will be at the Pizza Fun Night too! Bring some extra money to enjoy some dessert while you’re at the gym! (Dinner and drink is still included with your admission fee. The food truck is simply a fun, new addition.)

Timeline Reminder
- The fall session schedule will be available online beginning July 1.
- We are closed July 3-4.
- In class evaluations will be the week of June 10.
- Fall session registration will begin July 17!
- The last day of summer session is Tuesday, August 8.
Preschool Playtime
Bring your little ones to Gem City every Wednesday from 9:30-11:30 am for play! Preschool Playtime provides open, unstructured time for kids age 6 and under to play in the gym. You can come for a half-hour or stay the whole two hours. $7
📚 Next Quarterly Good Grades Drawing
The final Quarterly Good Grades Drawing of the school year will be June 21. Call or stop in the office to enter!!
