Senior Spotlight: Calissa Cormier

Calissa Cormier is a senior at Clark County High School in Kahoka, MO, on Gem City’s All Star Cheer Squad. She cheered at school since 5th grade and with Gem City since 7th grade.

Gem City rebooted its All Star Cheer Squad six years ago. Calissa was an original member of this effort. She helped build the program with her consistent hard work and leadership. Her example helped lead the squad to three trips to United States All Star Federation Nationals.

Outside of the gym, Calissa has participated in track and field, golf, and scholar bowl.

We’re excited for Calissa as she heads to Mizzou in the fall, where she plans to major in biology with a minor in art.
