Fourth Quarter Good Grades Drawing Winner: Anna Hinton

Anna Hinton is the winner of our Good Grades Drawing for the final quarter of the 2016-2017 school year! She’ll be a 7th grader at Keokuk Middle School in the fall. We’ll do a full profile soon here on the blog.

Gem City’s Good Grades drawing will be back for the 2017-2018 school year. Look for our drawing dates each quarter.


Start Planning for the School Year!

Evaluations begin the week of July 10

Evaluation Week for summer classes will be here soon. Coaches will test each student during class and provide a written recommendation about what class is the best fit for your child for the fall session.

If you have questions, please feel free to speak with your child’s coach.

Fall Schedule

The fall schedule with pricing will be available on our website and mailed during the week of July 3. Find classes at MyGemCity.com/classes.

Important Dates

  •  Registration for fall begins Monday, July 17
  •  Summer session ends Tuesday, August 8
  •  Fall session begins classes on Monday, August 21

☀️⛱ Summer Open Gym Fundraiser

Friday, July 21 from 2:30-4:30, $10

Ellie Lock, Coach Penny’s youngest daughter, is hosting an Open Gym. She is raising money for an educational school trip to Costa Rica!

Details: Ages 4 and up; parent must be present to sign a waiver; pre-registration suggested, but not required.


Awesome Job!

Gem City’s Tumbling Team competed at USTA Nationals on June 20-24 in Madison, Wisconsin.Twenty-three members competed.  Look for a blog post about the results at MyGemCity.com/news and on our Facebook page.
