Gem City’s senior all-star squad, Phoenix, HIT ZERO deductions in Indianapolis, earning a SECOND PLACE finish with a score of 94.46, and was picked by the judges for the Superior Showmanship Award.
The Gem City Diamonds, our Junior All Star Cheer Squad, competed in Indianapolis at their first meet of the season and qualified for NATIONALS! The competition was fierce and they earned 5th place. They also HIT ZERO deductions, which is awesome!
Gem City’s gymnasts competed at Metro Arch Classic in Collinsville, Illinois! It was a fantastic weekend, where we celebrated a graduating senior and competed well!

After entering the drawing for FOUR YEARS, Elizabeth Drew finally won! She is the second winner of our Good Grades Quarterly Drawing for the 2022-2023 school year. She’s on our all star cheer squad, an employee of Gem City, and an 11th grader at QHS!
Fourteen Gem City Tumblers earned top 3 or better placements at the Flip Flop Round Up Invitational this weekend in Decatur, IL. We are so proud of all their hard work and dedication.
Gem City’s Gymnastics Team competed in Yorkville, IL at the Bravo Classic, hosted by Phenom Gymnastics. It was a great weekend with our Level 3 team placing 5th overall and the Level 4 team earning a 4th overall placing!

Eight of our upper level gymnasts competed at the Coaches Spectacular hosted by Cincinnati Gymnastics in Covington, Kentucky. It’s always a longer drive, but the competition is a highlight each season!

Gem City’s gymnastics team competed in their first competition at the Crossroad Classic 2022 meet in Bloomington on December 9-11, 2022. We’re so proud of everyone’s hard work.
Over half of Gem City’s competitors earned a top three spot at their second competition of the 2022-2023 season on December 11.
The first winner of our Good Grades Quarterly Drawing for the 2022-2023 school year is Isabella Best! She’s in our Gymnastics Pre Team program and is a 6th grader at Holy Family.
