The Junior All-Star Cheer Squad, the Gem City Diamonds 💎, earned second place at their very first meet of the season.
We are so excited to congratulate two of Gem City’s seniors- Khloee Hinton and Madison Hochgraber. They both graduated in December at the end of the semester. Both of these young ladies will continue practicing and competing on their competitive teams through the end of the traditional school year, but we wanted to give them a shout-out on a job well done now!
Gem City’s Gymnastics Team competed in Yorkville, Illinois at the 2022 Bravo Classic Live meet on January 14-16, hosted by Phenom Gymnastics.
The USTA Elite Team Trial & Super Invitational took the Gem City Tumbling Team to Belvidere, IL. Gem City had a great competition. We are so proud of all our athletes hard work and dedication. Here are the results.
Welcome to our spring 2022 session! We hope everyone had a great holiday break. We are ready to get back into the swing of things here at the gym.
Gem City’s Gymnastics Team competed at the KC Classic “American Princess” Invitational hosted by Kansas City Gymnastics School. The Level 3 Team earned a second place finish.
Their second meet of the gymnastics season was the Crossroads Classic 2021 in Bloomington, Illinois. It was hosted by Gymnastics Etc.
It’s hard to believe that 2021 is wrapping up! But we still have a few quick reminders for you before we all welcome in 2022.
With nineteen athletes, Gem City’s Tumbling Team competed in their second competition at the Candy Cane Classic in Jacksonville, Illinois.
Gem City’s Gymnastics Team kicked off its first meet of the season in Libertyville, Illinois at the 22nd Annual Ultimate Wish Gymnastics Classic. The Level 5 Team earned a 3rd place finish, the Level 3 Team earned 4th place, and some amazing individual performances.

The first winner of our Good Grades Quarterly Drawing for the 2021-2022 school year is Aria Miller! She’s a 3rd grader at Central Middle School.
Gem City’s Level 2 Senior All Star Cheer Squad started this season off strong in Springfield, IL! They earned a first place finish and a bid to Nationals, which will take place in Florida in April. The all star competitions are hosted by the United States All Star Federation.
